Photo taken yesterday at Dogfish Head Brewing in Milton, DE...they make this 120 minute IPA twice a year; they finished bottling the most recent batch last week. So if you like it...it's out there. And rather pricey, too...

The only problem with 120 Minute (and World Wide Stout, for that matter) is the sheer alcohol content makes it feel too boozy for those who don't drink scotch/bourbon/whiskey on a regular basis to get past the alcohol heat. That's my problem with them, anyways, still want to age a couple for a number of years to let the alcohol heat subside.

Oh lent...when will you be over?
Oh beer...why did I give you up for lent?
*sigh*

That's actually not a bad price at all for 120 Minute. It goes for 12 a bottle by me.

What is the alcohol/volume for this?

Somewhere between 15% and 20%.

I grab a btitle about once a year (usually how often I see them) for around $10. Certainly not an everyday beer but definitely a fun one. I've got a couple aging now, back from 2011. Gotta drink em eventually

Dogfish is a customer of mine; they use my company's products in the production. They've told me in the past that the 120 is minimum 15% and has gone as high as 18% on occasion. They're just finishing up an expansion that will put their capacity around 250,000 bbls/year.

Yeah, when I buy it to bring home for my neighbor (I'm not a hophead) retail in MD/DE I see $10-12 a bottle. The photo was taken in the Brewery's store there on site in Milton.

Nice, that explains why I can get Dogfish in Central Illinois again and don't have to go back to the Chicago suburbs to get it anymore.
